Hapé is a snuff medicine, generally made with leaves of the tobacco plant nicotiana rustica, a high nicotine strength tobacco, as well as the ashes of various other sacred plants. It is also possible to work with tobacco free Hapé. In making the medicine, shamans sing and make prayers to infuse the medicine with their intention and energy which can be felt by the user. Benefits of Hapé can include a deeper spiritual connection, greater clarity and emotional balance, detoxification, clearing negative energies, killing bacteria and helping prevent respiratory illness, permitting healthy emotional release. Hapé is a powerful master plant teacher. A typical response to receiving Hapé is to experience slight eye watering, mild stinging in the nose, salivation, slightly elevated body temperature and sometimes purging. Initiation involves receiving several doses back to back and so physical responses are significantly intensified. My own journey with Hapé has been profound and deeply healing. Whilst a challenging experience, it has always been a rewarding one. Initiation involves 2 in person ceremonies with Hapé as well as 3 months of support in the interim as you develop your relationship with this incredible sacred plant spirit. Costs include travel to your location for ceremony up to 200 miles and can be paid in instalments upon request. Elemental Shifts understands that individuals receiving healing and spiritual guidance may have vulnerabilities and sensitivities that need to be considered in how such healings and guidance are delivered. If you feel you have specific needs, please let us know in advance so that we can ensure your service is delivered appropriately, considerately and in a way that allows you to feel safe. Hapé initiation ceremonies are subject to health checks for eligibility to ensure the safety of all participants. We reserve the right to refuse clients on the basis of risks to health or other detriment to the client from undertaking this challenging process. Clients are asked to honestly complete health check forms and Elemental Shifts accepts no liability for consequences of treatments administered in good faith based on inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by the client. Payments can be made via PayPal or direct bank transfer in advance. Bookings are subject to a 48 hour cancellation policy. Refunds are available if cancellation notice is received at least 48 hours in advance of bookings. Refunds due to unavoidable cancellation may also be available otherwise subject to the discretion of Elemental Shifts on request.
